My first real job in reggae was basically being an errand boy for Signet records which, at the time, was the biggest stateside independent record label...All the artists were from New York and Signet was producing a "real" New York Reggae sound alongside labels like Tan Yah. In any case, when this tune came out I remember carrying boxes of them up to Crown Heights to all the record stores...and BOOM ! When people first heard this one...REWIND!!!! |
