**Big Rock-A-Shacka ROOTS reissue!** For years I owned General Plough's "I'm The Toughest" on a 12" and one fateful day I dropped it and ended up scratching it terribly. Fortunately I found a blank 7" of it a few months later; I never listened to the either side of it, until one day I couldn't find my other version of cuss cuss and so I checked for a version...Instead of the riddim, I was flooded with a serious -- and eccentric -- piece of roots. Something about the entire production sounded both perfect and entirely on the edge of falling apart. It was "One more River" and it became one of my favorite tracks...and now our good friends at Drum & Bass have done this loving reissue of that classic tune! |
