One of the most surreal, fucked up tunes I have ever heard over a THUNDEROUS version of Sleng Teng. Ranking Joe cut this way back in Cincinatti with a guy named Mark Santangelo who he had met after a show. Apparently Joe described the Sleng Teng riddim to Mark and they got to work creating the track. According to Mr.Santangelo(who contacted us via email): " hard to believe but this was done with a roland 909 drum machine, (i created the beats) Live & DX7 Bass & Keys (I played both), space echo and 2 cassette machines." Pretty cool! |
